Everything's waiting till I turn to it again. I need to have one project out of sight when I'm in another. It's visually tiring to have it out. It also blocks thought needed by the other work.

I agree - it stresses me if I have too many projects out at the same time. Your work even looks beautiful in a drawer!
ReplyDeleteThank you. It feels better to be spinning in a spinning context rather than in the middle of a stitching project. I don't like muddle and stuff. It's what you get for being visual. Everything is like being in the middle of a brass band. You have to have some clear surfaces in order to hear yourself work.
DeleteI relate to this. I also enjoy the peek inside one of your artsy drawers. :)
ReplyDeleteAs it should be.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a little guided tour of my art stuff might be fun. It's pretty compact, since it's largely donations and thriftie supplies.
ReplyDeleteGood way to arranged things
ReplyDeleteI could use a little of your discipline and not have several projects out in plain sight. Mind you , having them there means I don't forget about them, so there's that.
