Creative Collective at West Windsor Library Gallery

If you're local to West Windsor NJ, you can enjoy a great show presented by the artists of Creative Collective in the gallery of the Library, for the month of April.  And there will be a reception on Sunday afternoon, 2-4, April 9.

Come and meet us, enjoy the art, and be aware that we are donating 10 per cent of all sales to Homefront, here in central NJ, for the benefit of their residents, who are currently homeless but determined on a better life for themselves and their children.  Creative Collective and the artists of Homefront have worked together on projects and workshops, and have had joint exhibits, too. Homefront offers a wide range of programs and help to their clients, and we join in that effort with our benefit.

The variety in this small show is astonishing -- from pastel to alcohol inks, to fused glass, to silk transparencies, to watercolor, acrylic and more.  The range of this group is always worth seeing.

And, as if that weren't enough, this energetic group is also presenting a show, already up, at the Chambers' Walk Cafe in Lawrenceville.  There will be a reception there in June, and the show is up to the end of June. Meanwhile, you can stop in, enjoy a meal, and be a patron of the arts.  That show too, will dedicate 10 per cent of sales to Homefront.  So, don't choose, go to both shows!

Creative Collective and the Artists of Homefront exhibit at West Windsor Library

Creative Collective and the artists of Homefront just hung a really strong show, thirty two works in media ranging from cast metal to glass to oils to acrylics, to pastels, to watercolor, to pen and ink to collage, and ceramics, in an explosion of color and style and meaning. This exhibit is worth a trip to see.

It's open all the hours the library is open, and you see it right where you enter. Hung alongside the artworks is a catalog of prices, titles and artist bios.  For directions, and opening hours, go here

It will be up to late May, so seize the day. It's  a great antidote to a wet cool Spring.
