This work, making fauxlags from silk combed top, kept me on an even keel. Silky handling, lovely fiber, great antidote to stress.

It looks like someone clipped off an elderly lady's curly locks. :)
ReplyDeleteIt does. As I was working with it I was thinking doll hair. The curl is natural in them.

ReplyDeleteI've spun a few today. Silk is very strong, doesn't separate easily, deceptive in how delicate it looks.
