Wearable wall hanging getting there

The main body is done, with many kinds of stitch patterns, beading, yarnovers, traditional and made up by the knitter as she went. Here's the whole thing, really hard to get a pic of a long piece like this with a simple camera, and details reading top to bottom.

Still to come: a length of Icord, in progress, which will be snailtrailed all over it and maybe beyond.

Then what, I wonder..

  2. Thank you. As usual the photography was not helped by my choice of shape! I seem to be drawn to art you can't pic. I had a white in white period, and a black gesso period..

  3. Well done! I just had to embiggen the pictures so I could see the detail better. Very impressed with how fast you churned this out!

  4. Thank you! It was total self indulgence. Just did a pattern until I felt like changing, to whatever I fancied next. Beads? Right. Lace? Right. Simple rib? Done!

And since you reignited my interest in arne and Carlos, and I just saw them doing crazy quilting with lace, oh dear, maybe those two pillows I just emptied and laundered, nice linen, might have a new lease of life with additions and lace and stuff. Far from my usual taste, but nobody knows but you readers..
