ReplyDeleteFriends of mine with a house at the shore (New Jersey for beach) used to celebrate Christmas in July always, trees, decoration, everything, with shore friends they never saw out of season. To me that's what it is, and I find that people who make things also use the expression for making gifts in summer. Cool!
DeleteYes, it seems Christmas in July has become a 'thing'. I've always thought it was the month to push the panic button if there wasn't enough in the box of Christmas gift makings. This year, it's a July Panic in spades!
