One done, one to go
In which I am reminded again how I hate doing stuffing. Toys, pillows, poultry, anything.
But one pillow is complete and in action in the huygge corner. Or however it's written.
These were premade, or recycled, but needed to be adjusted. That's the $&$&$& part. And stitching that last seam. With dolls there's no escaping the stuffing in teeny bits to make it even.
But I always say it's only the one time per pillow. It's like framing art, dull and inevitable.
I was talking about this with another friend today and she suggested animals instead. Do I'm thinking about it. I already have three breed specific dogs I knitted a while ago. They've only appeared as showdogs being handled by NameMe, but they could develop character. md there are the zoo animals in that other collection...hm.
Ah, the dreaded pillow stuffing - easily alleviated by the judicious application of money towards pre-made forms. Just sayin'

And speaking of dolls - where ever are the Dollivers hiding these days? I miss them.
DeleteFunny you should ask. I've taken a leave of absence from them, or them from me. Maybe I should revive them. Or maybe even add a new member. Hm.
ReplyDeleteUh oh - maybe I've unleashed a monster?
