And Alice the gallery director obligingly took a pic with me and my work, Red Building, and the certificate showing it's now in the public collection.

Finally got to the gallery to establish that I'm in the show
The Gallery at Mercer County community College. I picked a few favorites. The reflections on the glass made it difficult to get others.

what a lot of talent in that show. I loved the peacock. And the shot of you with your official certificate and work.
ReplyDeleteThat weaving just makes me smile and smile, I don't know why...
It's a strong show. The peacock is all separate rolled and folded paper pieces, each feather. Chinese artist.
ReplyDeleteI like that the tapestry is friendly!
Well done you! And I'm glad you got a photograph to document the award. This looks like a really good show. And that ceramic by J. Marion Simmons would be a REAL temptation to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Marion's a member of the local artists group, and s very good modeler. Full of life and movement.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great show - such a variety of art on display by the look of your photos. So nice to see your proud smile alongside your work!
ReplyDeleteI went along in studio grubbies, not expecting a photoshoot, but oh well. it's actually a pretty nice shot considering she'd never handled my phone before and it's not like an iPhone.
