I have such a sense of peace doing it.Boudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00641013916263271948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8755568855319050817.post-31261800458173048172020-02-20T19:44:26.291-08:002020-02-20T19:44:26.291-08:00Spinning paper - well, that's a new take on it...Spinning paper - well, that's a new take on it (at least to me it is). Spinning is a mystery to me anyway - one of those things I haven't tried.Magpie's Mumblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852241848575954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8755568855319050817.post-39886576013454290122020-02-20T17:42:27.239-08:002020-02-20T17:42:27.239-08:00I've tried spinning paper a time or two, long ...I've tried spinning paper a time or two, long strips, lightweight spindle. My skills are, um, rudimentary. But I will try again. I got the idea from Sarah Swett. She also makes exquisite small books, with woven covers. She doesn't make her own paper for the signatures, but she uses handmade paper. The paper she spins is used coffee filters, tough material. I haven't tried them yet. But I fancy using some of my natural dyes on them. Stay tuned.Boudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00641013916263271948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8755568855319050817.post-47050439681839200682020-02-20T16:30:59.056-08:002020-02-20T16:30:59.056-08:00I am intrigued. I've been down some interesting paths; I taught amateur paper makers how to make paper from the cotton lint from weaving. But spinning paper--I have no idea and look forward to your explanation.Joanne Noragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16601010208310707750noreply@blogger.com
